Lima
Welcome to Peru – Your adventure begins in Lima with a welcome meeting at 2 pm at your hotel in Lima. Head downtown for a guided walking tour of the city’s historical centre to take in the colonial mansions, palaces and churches that line the streets. Visit the Museum of the Inquisition to learn about Spanish colonialism. Taking you to the bohemian Barranco district to sample the best local street food and Pisco cocktails.

Lima / Cusco
Fly to Cusco (domestic flight included) Explore Cusco and it’s blend of cultures on a walking tour. Checking out attractions such as Qoricancha Temple, San Pedro Market, 12 Angled Stone, Regocijo Square and San Blas Square. Dinner on your own and try local Peruvian favourites

Cusco / Sacred Valley / Ollantaytambo
Drive through Sacred Valley known as Wilcamayo to the Incas. See maize crops covering the terraced walls and sacred river beneath. Stop for lunch in the local community. Learn about traditional lifestyle and learn some languages. Shopping at local handicrafts such as beads and ponchos. Go to Ollantaytambo to visit archaeological site of ancient city of an Inca city. Taste local flavors in local town before returning back to hotel. Dinner on your own

Sacred Valley / Inca Trail
Traveling to Aguas Calientas by train, luggage will be left at the hotel in Cusco and travel in a small bag to stay overnight in Aguas Calientes. After spending the night in Ollantaytambo, take a short drive to the town of Pisac. Shop for souvenirs and perhaps try some local empanadas. Shop at San Pedro Market, where you have the option to buy some local favourites for a picnic tomorrow.

Inca Trail
Visit Tambomachay, an archaeological site outside of Cusco. Visit Puka Pukara, Quenqo and Saksaywaman. Visit Art galleries and workshops to enjoy dinner.

Cusco
Drive to Ollantaytambo then ride on train to Urubamba Valley to Aguas Calientes.

Machu Picchu
Take the bus up to Machu Picchu at 6am. Explore around ruins of temples, palaces and living quarters.

Cusco
Free day at Cusco. Explore Plaza de Arames or San Pedro Market.

Puerto Maldonado
Transfer to Airport to fly to Puerto Maldonado. (Included) Boat ride to Explorer Inn and enjoy Amazonian boxed lunch and snack. Check out wildlife on the riverside. Visit Tambopata National Reserve. Enjoy nighttime boat excursion on Tambopata River at sunset.

Puerto Maldonado
Visit Tres Cimbadas Lake and observe Giant River Otters on boat ride. Back to lodge for lunch. Visit tower for panoramic view of the Amazon Rainforest. Back to lodge for dinner. Jungle Night walk with headlamp and explore wildlife at night and enjoy the stars before back to lodge.

Puerto Maldonado
Short walk to Laguna Chica then ride back to Puerto Maldonado by canoe. Transfer to airport to fly to Lima (Flight not included) Shopping at Lima and get together for farewell evening. (Dinner on your own).

Lima
Transfer to airport to fly back to USA.
